Cabletec launches new High Flex Bonding Leads

Cabletec has recently completed a three year development project with Airbus UK to design and produce a range of high performance bonding leads, with specific emphasis on flexing endurance. Included in the project was the detailed testing and analysis of all bonding lead constructions currently used in the European Aerospace industry, in order to determine their performance in a dynamic environment where multiple flexing are required. The project culminated in Cabletec producing a new improved design specification for a range of bonding leads that outperform all other current designs tested by a minimum of 5 times.

HBT screening braid approved to German VG specification

In order to meet the ever rising demand from Europe for our high performance products, we are pleased to announce that HBT99 & HBT90 screening braids are now approved to the German VG96936 specification. Gaining this prestigious approval enables us to supply product into the German military market and other markets that require a guaranteed and consistent high level of screening performance. To qualify for the approval, the Zt screening performance of HBT99 and HBT90 was tested, proving that they are comparable with and often exceed the performance of other market brands.
